| After dealing with the Daleks, The regenerated Doctor (Grant Battersby) takes time out for a rest. But things seem a little to quiet.
As the streets of London are deserted, the Doctor bumps into a lonely old Professor (Joel Doman). As the Professor Harlston uses the Doctor for target practice with his new machines, The Doctor soon learns that the whole of London has been wiped out by the gigantic metal monsters, Colon Bontonions. With Harlstons invention disobeying orders, they are both left with the mission of stopping the Colon Bontonions from destroying any other cities. But the Doctor needs help. Sitting in the streets, he reunites himself with the little tin dog, K.9.
