The
Invisible Opiate
|

|
Still shaken over the death of companion Leia, and in need of convalescence, the Doctor suggests that he and his new companion, Charlotte, travel to Norway to see
the spectacular Aurora Borealis.
To the Doctors surprise, though, they seem uncommonly bright, prompting him to pay a call on U.N.I.T. for more information...
But the Brigadier has problems of his own, with an alarming outbreak of unexplained, violent strangling across the country. The Doctor reluctantly agrees to help, but it is only when he and Charlotte discover a connection between the two phenomena that the true gravity of the situation becomes clear...
With precious little time to avert catastrophe, and the number of deaths escalating out of control, the Doctor and Charlotte must fight to stop one of his most dangerous adversaries, with a thousand-strong invasion force poised to attack as soon as word is
given....

An excellent FF. The Invisible opiate is has nice camera work and embodies a devious plot by Davros which is commendable. For a low budget, too, the props are 2nd to none.
However, the actual storyline itself is a little dull with not much depth or events to encapsulate an audience. Also, no offense to Chris Hoyle, he is a fantastic actor, but if I were him, I would be a little more exitable and eccentric. |
